Quark Apple Pie

Sweet and protein rich apple pie that tastes the best after cooling down served cold from the fridge. Suitable as a snack as well as a treat at the same time. Naturally gluten free without added sugar.

Made in 26 cm diameter pie dish, serves 10 porpotion.

Total preparation time 50 minutes.

Quark Apple Pie

Crust

200g oat flour

100g apple puree

30g oil

Filling

700g quark

3 eggs

100g raisins

250g apple puree

½ juice of lemon

pinch of salt

1 teaspoon ground cardamom

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 apples

Instructions

Combine and mix the crust ingredients first with spoon and then by hand.

Press the dough firmly onto the bottom of the pie dish and about 2 cm up the sides.

Mix the filling ingredients in a bowl.

Pour the filling into the dish.

Slice the apples to the top.

Bake in the over for 30 minutes in 225 degrees.

Cool down.
